Amanda is a graduate from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology with her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has completed her EMDR training, and can now provide EMDR treatment. Amanda works with clients from 14 years old on up. With backgrounds in various populations such as LGBTQIA+, the ENM community, and school based, to name just a few. She also specializes in Anxiety, Depression, and Grief. Additional areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, behavioral concerns, coping skill acquisition, navigation of divorce/blended family dynamics, peer relationships, self-esteem/confidence building, and trauma focused therapies. Amanda enjoys working with a wide variety of clientele, from individuals, to couples, to families. She enjoys accompanying her clients on their journey of healing and providing a warm, therapeutic atmosphere, infused with laughter and sensitivity. Meeting clients where they are is her greatest strength and she utilizes that to optimize their path to healing.
