Introduction

I am an outgoing, energetic, self-motivated, skilled therapist with a passion for working with children, families&adults.Being a psychotherapist has been a passion for since I was school age.I’ve seen children and adults struggle with self- harm, depression, anxiety, school difficulty and what seems like defiance. The children carry the symptoms of the dysfunction and try to manage it the best way they.I believe that if it is possible to resolve any difficulties within a child, individual or family that is where the work should begin.By beginning with a member of the family the family unit can grow and heal together. I am a registered play therapist, offering Adlerian Play Therapy, which allows the children to communicate and work through their difficulties in their own language. I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and offer services to those needing help with managing relationships. I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing(EMDR) and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional offering treatment for those who have experienced trauma (and other things) and want to reduce symptoms.I am always obtaining more knowledge to improve skills and incorporate more evidence based practices. I have worked as an: intensive community based therapist with families, emergency mobile crisis clinician for children (0-17 years olds), multi-dimensional family therapy therapist, psychiatric clinician(therapist). I have worked in outpatient, clinic, school based, community and residential settings.Feel free to reach out and ask me more about services and how I can be of assistance to you as an individual, your child or your family. I am also building a team of experienced and knowledgable clinicians who are motivated to assist your family.
