Amber is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their goals and improve their mental health and well-being. Amber is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas and in New Mexico. Amber received a Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2018 from American Military University and a Master’s in Social Work in 2021 from Angelo State University. Amber has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in various social work settings: Veteran Affairs, Judicial System, Mental Health, and Psychiatric Hospital Social Work. In these roles, she worked with a wide scope of matters including substance abuse, relational conflict, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, mood disorders, and trauma. Amber has additionally worked at the federal level with military individuals facing the judicial system and incarceration. She is also a Veteran of the United States Coast Guard. Amber guides her approach using an eclectic approach that is guided by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. She is focusing on working with individuals with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, psychosis, trauma, and relational conflict. She specializes in working with adults and couples.
