Hello, my name is Amber McFeeters, I am a therapist who enjoys working closely with young children and their families to foster healthy emotional and social development. My therapeutic approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, and I'm trained in evidence-based modalities such as Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma Play. These interventions allow me to address the impact of adverse experiences on young children and guide families toward healing and resilience. I believe that every family deserves the opportunity to heal and thrive, and I'm deeply committed to supporting them on their journey. My passion for working with children and families led me to pursue a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, and I've been practicing as a therapist since 2021. I understand that seeking help can be a difficult step, and I strive to create a safe and nurturing environment where you and your little ones feel comfortable exploring your emotions and experiences. I'm here to walk alongside you every step of the way, offering guidance, support, and compassion as you navigate life's challenges and work towards a brighter future. Together, we can help your family overcome obstacles, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and build strong bonds that will last a lifetime. I'm looking forward to meeting you and beginning our work together.
