Dynamic Family Art Therapy is owner operated by licensed and board certified Art Therapist and Marriage & Family Therapist, Amelia Upton, MA, LMFT, ATR-BC, MHP. Amelia (she/they) received their masters in Marriage & Family Therapy and Art Therapy at Antioch University Seattle. She worked in community mental health settings supporting children and families with diverse backgrounds and needs prior to opening Dynamic Family Art Therapy. Amelia self-identifies with the LGBTQ+ community as queer, Jewish, neurodiverse, and experiences chronic medical conditions. Amelia values honesty, cultural differences, creativity, and anti-racism. She honors these values and confronts bias and prejudice in their life and therapy practice. Amelia offers supervision and consultation to associate level MFTs, MHCs, LCIWs, and Art Therapists. *Not currently accepting new clients until Feb 2025*
