Greetings! I am a New York State licensed psychologist with a background in school psychology and over 15 years of experience teaching undergraduate and graduate psychology in higher education. My work with adolescents and young adults in both academic and therapeutic settings has given me deep insight into their social, emotional, and cognitive development. As a private practitioner, I have provided compassionate, person-centered therapy for individuals ages 13 to 60 years. My approach integrates cognitive and behavioral strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs. I offer both in-person appointments at my Hornell, NY office and flexible teletherapy options for clients across the state. At this time, I am not in-network with any insurance providers, which means I am considered an out-of-network provider. However, I am happy to provide superbills—detailed receipts that include the necessary information for clients to submit to their insurance companies for possible out-of-network reimbursement, depending on individual plan benefits. Many clients are able to receive partial reimbursement through their insurance provider, and I recommend checking with your insurance company to understand your out-of-network mental health benefits. In addition, clients may use Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) to pay for sessions. These accounts can often be used tax-free for qualified health expenses, including therapy.
