The most important aspect of therapy is the connection, therefore I focus on creating a positive and trusting therapeutic environment. In this space, we can use the therapeutic relationship as a magnifying glass to better understand events that occur in everyday life. I pair this with techniques to assist in managing thoughts, including Motivational Interviewing, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, and empirically-based Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to develop lifelong tools to address stress, depression, anxiety, and addiction. Additionally, I utilize tenants of Interpersonal Psychotherapy to address issues in couples therapy. I am currently accepting clients with substance abuse issues, as well as those suffering from pain management disorders, depression, anxiety, and bi-polar disorder. I am also sensitive to the needs of adolescents and adults on the autism spectrum and am happy to lend the specialized assistance required by those clients and their families. Please note that all sessions will be provided via Telehealth using a secure platform.
