Trauma Wellness is a counseling center dedicated to helping people heal from trauma in a holistic way. Amy Dilworth is the owner and a therapist in the Center. Amy started working with people who have encountered trauma in 1996. She specializes in all trauma, intimate partner violence is the highest level of her specialties. Amy was Executive Director of the Knoxville Family Justice Center for 14 years. She has also worked in outpatient therapy for victims of child sexual abuse and in therapeutic foster care. She worked as an investigator for the Tennessee Protection and Advocacy program as well. Amy is trained to utilize Eye Movement Desentization Reprocessing (EMDR) technique. Amy has recovered from two intimate partner violence relationships in her own past. She enjoys spending time with her friends, family, dog and cat.
