Amy is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who graduated from Capella University with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling and holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Bridgewater State University. Her clinical experience includes working with individuals and families in-home to provide crisis management, intensive therapy, and stabilization. She worked with clients in their community to provide advocacy, access to services, and effective care. She also worked as an outpatient therapist, therapeutic mentor and a group facilitator for social-emotional groups for children and adolescents within various school systems. She enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults and families. Her approach is client-centered, collaborative and strengths based. She uses a variety of different models in order to meet clients where they are at, including but not limited to CBT, DBT, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, play therapy and more.
