Introduction

Thanks for stopping by! I know that finding a therapist can be a daunting process during a difficult time in your life. I want to help you find purpose and clarity in your personal life as well as in your relationships. Therapy can help you to make fulfilling changes in your life and to feel better connected to the ones you love. You can expect our time together to be conversational in nature. I often incorporate humor into our sessions and will sometimes use self-disclosure when I believe it will help to normalize experiences. Hey, we're all human, right? As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT-- License #LF 61062405) in the state of Washington, I have experience working with individuals, couples and families. I have completed Level 3 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I hold a Medical Family Therapy Certificate and have experience working within a variety of medical settings. I especially enjoy working with couples who are experiencing the transition to parenthood. I believe that this particular life transition is among one of the most meaningful and trying experiences, and I enjoy helping couples navigate through this time in their lives. INDIVIDUAL THERAPY I use a strengths-based approach in my work with individuals, helping you to utilize your own resources and strengths to empower yourself and create fulfilling changes in your life. COUPLES THERAPY In order to help you feel more connected to your partner, I draw upon the work of Drs. John and Julie Gottman to help you deepen the foundation of trust and friendship within your relationship and to provide you with tools and skills to communicate better.
