I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families interested in expanding insight and collaberativley exploring new approaches to difficulties that may be presenting including trauma, depression, anxiety, transitions, and various other areas of concern. I am honored to be part of this process with people. I believe that healing is connected to one's personal, social, cultural, and political systems, along with attachment history, core beliefs, and identity integration. My approach is relationally based and culturally responsive, meaning I seek to understand you and the people you identify as important in your life. I use a person-centered, relational approach, and thoughtfully utilize various theoretical models specific to your care as I don't take a one size fits all approach to therapy. Likewise, my approach does not identify you as the problem, rather, the problem is the problem. I have specialized experience, training, and consultation in the use of culturally responsive treatment of trauma including EMDR and TFCBT in urban, rural, and indigenous communities. My experience and research also includes a commitment to providing services to individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+.
