Introduction

Welcome to Mind, Heart, Play, Therapy a play based approach to supporting young children, teens, and adults. At Mind Heart Play, my goal is to come alongside you to set goals and facilitate change in a safe and nurturing therapeutic relationship. I specialize in child centered play therapy for children ages 3-10 and spent many years providing counseling in elementary schools. Parent Child Interaction Therapy, a coaching model where parent and child (age 3-7 years) participate in therapy together. With teens, I use expressive arts, sand tray, and play based strategies to explore underlying causes and treatment of stress, anxiety and depression. I am trained in Safe EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) a therapy that helps teens and adults find relief and healing from trauma memories. Every client and family is unique, please schedule an appointment to develop a treatment plan that reflects your goals and needs.
