Counselor Aloha Therapy for Wellness
Available this week
Specialties: Trauma, Life Transitions, Military/Veteran's Issues, Anxiety, ADD/ADHD

Introduction

As someone who has seen the benefits of therapeutic practice and who has seen the immense amount of stigma that is still associated with seeking treatment for our mental health, I entered the field with a desire to reach the people who aren't always the first ones receiving it. I want to be able to ensure that all people receive the help that they need. I also like to train in various modalities, so I am well-versed in the most up-to-date practices for myself and my clients. Most recently, I added Brainspotting and EMDR to my training. I also lean toward IFS (parts work), DBT/CBT, mindfulness, and psychotherapy. When working with a client, I usually take an integrative approach, combining different techniques from the various practices.
