I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSW-A). I have an undergraduate degree in social work from North Carolina A&T State University. I received a master's degree in social work from the Joint Master of Social Work Program with the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and North Carolina A&T State University. Over the past six years, I have honed my skills through academic and internship programs, gaining valuable experience with a diverse range of populations, from adolescents to underserved communities. I have had the opportunity to work with an interdisciplinary team, as we provide integrated approaches using many modalities. Those may include Systems theory, a strength-based perspective, and motivational interviewing. As a counselor, my primary goal is to create a safe and comfortable space for my clients. I am deeply committed to empowering individuals to make positive changes in their lives. I see my role as one of support and guidance, always respecting the client's control over their journey.
