I aim to create a safe, affirming space for exploration, insight, and growth, welcoming all identities and lived experiences. This includes LGBTQIA+ individuals (asexual and aromantic inclusive), those navigating neurodivergence, polyamorous and nontraditional relationships, chronic illness and disability, immigration, existential questions of purpose and direction, cultural exploration, noncomformity, and those struggling to stay grounded amid today’s political and societal challenges. I prioritize an authentic client-therapist relationship, committed to being a steady therapeutic presence throughout your evolving needs. Sessions become a collaborative exploration of your inner world and how you interact with your environments. We will remain rooted in the present, slowly exploring early formative, relational, and systemic influences, laying the groundwork for balanced work around emotional processing, cognitive patterns, and values clarification, guided by the goals you bring into the space. My approach is individualized and responsive. Sessions may unfold organically through conversation or include more structured elements like psychoeducation, workbooks, reflective exercises, or creative projects, depending on your needs and preferences. We’ll draw from Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Solution-Focused, Attachment, Relational, Existential, Feminist, Mindfulness, Multicultural, and Trauma-Informed modalities. WHAT TO EXPECT After an optional free consultation to ensure fit, we begin with a structured intake to explore your background, concerns, and goals. Sessions adapt to your needs: immediate life stress, ongoing dynamics, and anything unfolding in the moment takes priority. We'll gain insight through these present-moment conversations while also engaging in focused exploration one goal at a time, building a strong base for ongoing work. WHERE TO BEGIN Whether you're pursuing specific goals or simply sensing the need for change, therapy can help. It's not always clear where to begin, and that’s completely okay, especially when the discomfort is hard to name. If you're here, perhaps part of you is ready to explore what’s beneath the surface. You are welcome to use the contact form (up top), email therapy.anastasiapluish@gmail.com, text (215) 645-2396, or schedule a free consult directly through this website. I offer an optional free 30-minute consultation, as well as the option to schedule your first session. Coaching is also available as an alternative to therapy for support around specific life goals, transitions, identity exploration, and similar. INSURANCE & SELF-PAY I am currently able to accept self-payment for therapy clients residing within Pennsylvania state (superbill provided for insurance reimbursement), self-payment for coaching clients residing within the United States, and Medicaid for clients residing within Philadelphia county. Medicaid clients outside of Philadelphia county are offered a significantly reduced self-pay rate. I expect to add broader insurance coverage in the near future, as well as additional evening hours - if you would like to be notified of updates, please use the contact form or email therapy.anastasiapluish@gmail.com
