At Anchor Life Clinic, we learn how to focus in ways that open our body up to experiencing freedom, creativity, and spaciousness. During the process of anchoring, we accomplish 4 intentions: 1) Slowing down repetitive thoughts, 2) Weakening the power of repetition, 3) Bringing attention to the present, and 4) Changing our focus to creative functioning. Anchoring creates a purpose that cultivates awareness of change. Melanie is a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist, Accredited Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), as well as an LGBTQIA+ expert for individuals and couples, in addition to individuals and couples exploring polyamory. She works with adults and children as a Certified Attention Deficit Consultant. She is a member of the Secular Therapy Project as well as the Attention Deficit Disorder Association. She is a certified Neuro Linguistic Programming Practitioner. She is also certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Neuropsychotherapy. Stacy specializes in Dual Diagnosis and Trauma therapy (TF-CBT) and MAT for individual adults. Her emphasis in on Cognitive Behavior therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). She is also a veteran of the US Navy. Her goal is to empower you to learn, grow, and heal from your experiences. Dana is an NPE, a person who has experienced a "non-parental event". This usually comes from a DNA test, when you find your parent/parents are not biologically related to you. She specializes in guiding fellow NPEs through the complex identity crisis that ensues after this discovery, as well as other life transitions beginning in childhood. TALKING IT OUT: Socio-Political Support Group Navigating sociopolitical stressors can be overwhelming, and having a safe space where people can connect, share, and process emotions is crucial. This group will assist participants in finding a balance between expressing their emotions and focusing on empowering solutions.
