Counseling/Therapy/Coaching is all part of the therapeutic experience and each one offers something different to you based on where you are in your journey. Maybe you just need to get to know self better and explore where you are on the enneagram, maybe you have unprocessed trauma from childhood and we need to do inner-child work, or maybe you are dealing with grief, feeling lost, or relational issues. Regardless, I can help you navigate through this maze of uncertainty in order to find purpose, meaning, and connections. I began my counseling journey after graduating from the University of Arkansas in 2016 with a focus on mental health. I love all ages but focus solely on adults and am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Grief Therapy, where we learn to safely process thoughts, feelings, and past situations through the lens of compassion. We often explore wounds from childhood in order to better understand our behaviors as adults; and we get the opportunity to re-parent that inner child who often felt unheard, unseen, unloved, unsafe. We learn to have a relationship with self again that is focused on trust, love, respect, and self-care. We learn how to meditate, regulate emotions, set boundaries, bring up thinking/feeling/doing, and we will figure out where you are at on the enneagram. If you are not familiar with the E, look it up! It is a personality typing system that helps us to better understand why we do what we do.
