I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California, experienced in working with children, adolescents, and adults. I am eager to hear your story and help you shape it in a way to move forward and thrive. Since graduating from San Francisco State University with a MS in Counseling in 2009, I have worked in a variety of settings, like an outpatient hospital program (supporting mothers with postpartum depression and anxiety), community mental health organizations, and public and private K-12 schools. I work with individuals and families. I believe in caring for yourself and others, and that sharing your unique personal narrative are so valuable. I use a strengths-based and client-centered approach; trauma-informed, solution-focused, and mindfulness based techniques; and principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Non-Violent Communication (NVC), and Social Thinking to help you do that. I am committed to supporting, nurturing, and challenging you. I will meet you wherever you are. Together we can increase self-awareness and self-compassion; distress tolerance, emotion regulation, problem-solving, and communication skills; confidence, harmony, and trust. I would be so honored to join you on this dynamic journey. Please note: I am an out-of-network provider who can provide a superbill if you plan to submit your own claims for payment reimbursement from your health insurance company, or a Good Faith Estimate if you are either uninsured or do not plan to use your health insurance benefits for my services. I meet with clients online using the secure video platform in Simple Practice and in-person at an agreed upon location, like a park, for "Walk and Talk" therapy. Schedule a free 15 minute phone consultation to inquire about my fees and learn more.
