If you'd like to feel better and reduce symptoms like anxiety and depression, you've come to the right place. I am an Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist (Level 3). IFS is a therapy approach developed by Richard Schwartz that helps you understand the warring factions inside yourself and access the Healer within. With patience and warmth, I will guide you to understand the reasons you are suffering, develop new tools, and find healing. I also specialize in mindfulness, using approaches from Insight meditation to help you nurture awareness and self-compassion. I have extensive training as well in Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and provide clients with better ways to communicate with their loved ones and coworkers. I offer individual therapy to adults primarily. I also work with teenagers and their families. I am sensitive to the varied and unique ways in which people identify and will do my best to respect your identity (cultural, racial, sexual, gender, age, ability, etc.) and include it in our work together. Many of my clients have some form of childhood or adolescent trauma which contributes to their symptoms. My approach is gentle, effective, and trauma-informed.
