Introduction

I am a pre-licensed therapist working with Julie. I am accepting new patients at this time. Most of my work is with people suffering from the remnants of childhood, its implications for daily life, but also helping find new ways of seeing and thinking about those things. I also work with the stressors that can accompany a life spent managing chronic illness, if an individual happens to live with that particular problem. I would characterize my approach as being humanistic and existential in particular. My work is generally structured in the manner of traditional psychodynamic talk therapy. I try to work with my patients over time to help identify impediments to their psychological flourishing and find ways to overcome or eliminate those impediments. It’s important to me that the people I work with feel absolutely heard and that their needs and choices direct therapy. Our time together would be about you and understanding how my presence can help you become more capable of handling unavoidable burdens and overcoming what is in your power to change. Please reach out to schedule an initial appointment or a complimentary brief phone consultation.
