A native of the American South, educated in New England, the Midwest, and Southern California (Antioch University, MA in Psychology), I became a therapist following a successful twenty-year career in media and entertainment marketing. Working first as an addiction counselor and, since 2016, I am now a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist focused on trauma and the challenges people face as a result of it. I use Mindfulness-based EMDR as a primary modality. I specialize in treatment of process addictions and offer myself up as a willing guide for those seeking assistance in early recovery from drugs, alcohol, gambling, and other addictions. I strongly incorporate elements of DBT, CBT, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in the work I do with clients. Ultimately, my only goal is to be the best collaborator I can be in accompanying my clients on their path to healing and self-actualization.
