Proud resident of the Penn State University area in State College, PA, and an alumnus of Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. My nursing journey began with earning my ASN in 2006 and BSN in 2020, followed by achieving my graduate degree as a PMHNP from Walden University. Driven by a profound passion for aiding others, I have amassed a wealth of expertise, boasting certifications in perinatal loss/bereavement, perinatal psychopharmacology, PMH-C, certified school nursing, DBT, and CCTP. My journey into nursing was deeply influenced by my eldest son's health challenges, navigating through NICU struggles and mental health issues. Throughout my career, I have devoted myself to the welfare of children, adolescents, and perinatal/postpartum women. My tenure as a school nurse, coupled with my personal loss of my daughter at 30 weeks gestation, inspired my specialization in psychiatric care. My life's purpose revolves around aiding women and children grappling with mental health afflictions, with an unwavering commitment to effecting positive change in their lives.
