From a very young age, I was interested in the resilience of others and how individuals overcame life's challenges. As your therapist, I provide a culturally-sensitive, trauma-informed space that offers opportunity for reflection and healing. I believe the client knows themselves best, and combined with my training and professional experience, we can forge a path towards wellness. I work with all ages and specialize in clinical mental health and child and adolescent counseling. In addition, I maintain an endorsement as an Infant Mental Health Specialist (III). I am trained, certified, and/or rostered in a number of interventions including Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Circle of Security Informed Therapy (COS-IT). My approach to counseling encourages clients to look within themselves for the answers to life's most difficult questions and situations while acknowledging client strengths. I also believe addressing trauma and attachment issues, along with addressing systemic oppression and racial injustice, are imperative to unpacking sustained challenges, symptoms, and impairments across the lifespan. I would be honored to work with you or your family in taking a first step toward healing.
