Introduction

My passion in life is supporting those who are curious and eager to find a better way of living and if they are being their authentic selves. I have experience working with addiction, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, PTSD and healing attachment wounds. I received my BA in Psychology from Kean University in Union, New Jersey. I said goodbye to my beach town, kicked off my flip flops and trekked down to the mountains to find the unique city of Asheville, where I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Carolina University in 2017. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC #13218). Clients have described me as direct, non-judgmental, compassionate and often find a way to add some humor into a session. I like to encourage my clients to examine their options in every situation, build on their strengths to better handle emotions, and challenge thinking errors. I offer a trauma informed approach and focus on integrating Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing and Attachment Theory into my sessions. I am certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) which is an evidenced based therapy utilizing rapid eye movement and guided imagery. ART has proven to help those that suffer from PTSD, depression, anxiety, phobias and grief. I feel honored to be a part of your journey.
