Hello, I'm Angelina, a pre-licensed clinician at Clarity Counseling Services. With roots in a Latina background, I was born and raised in Colorado before relocating to Fairbanks in 2022, where I've discovered profound fulfillment in serving this vibrant community. My professional journey has led me through diverse roles, including serving as a case manager for a private practice specializing in justice-involved populations and contributing to a residential facility. On the clinical front, I've assisted psychologists with psychological testing at Open Sky Wilderness Therapy, primarily serving adolescents. Additionally, I've gained valuable experience as a practicum student intern at a community mental health facility catering to adults. Subsequently, I completed a year-long internship in an intensive outpatient program (IOP), facilitating group therapy sessions addressing addictions and trauma. My passion lies in supporting adults and couples on their healing journey. I view my role as a guide through the forest of healing, utilizing modalities such as Brainspotting, DBT, CBT, narrative therapy, and art therapy. Beyond my counseling practice, I dedicate time to personal pursuits, including training and competing in Olympic weightlifting, embracing outdoor adventures, and cherishing moments with loved ones.
