In my work as a therapist I have found my true passion in helping people find happier, healthier, and more productive lives. I love working with people in all stages of life and all states of healing. I love working with teenagers, parents, individuals and married and co-parenting couples coming alongside them in their difficulties and heartbreak with the goal of finding true joy again. I believe that the connection you have with your therapist makes all the difference in the world. In our journey together I take a very client-centered, collaborative approach to understanding and identifying your unique goals and needs. Much of my experience has been with trauma induced depression and anxiety. I am grounded in the philosophy that therapy is nurturing the beauty that is in you as you learn to overcome your trials. Along with the cognitive behavioral therapy approach, I am specifically trained in EMDR, trauma, grief therapy, Internal Family Systems and divorce/co-parenting. I bring a lot of life lived to the work that I do including 20 years in the corporate world, 25 years of marriage and raising three kids. I use a blend of compassion, encouragement and challenge with a little dose of humor. I want you to feel safe and confident that you are in good hands as we navigate your goals and find the authentic you again.
