Introduction

Anitra Clark, LCSW has been providing mental health services for over 20 years. She has provided services to various populations in an array of settings to include: outpatient mental health, community mental health, emergency psychiatric center, and the juvenile justice center. She has also provided various services, such as: case management, individual therapy, crisis services, group therapy, psycho education, and teaching. Anitra believes that at times, mental health can be viewed in its most extreme form: schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression, etc... However, while those diagnosis are true; most often, it is more common for people to seek support around navigating relationship challenges, work stress, health/illness, parenting, grief/loss, depression, anxiety, etc. Whatever, the reason, Anitra believes in partnering with you to help navigate your emotional journey. Anitra's style is warm and inviting, with a bit of light humor coupled with strong clinical knowledge and self awareness. CBT is often at the center of a persons narrative to help them understand the power of the mind and how shift your perspective in order to arrive to the best possible outcome for your process. Appointments are offered both virtually and in person, depending on the need of the client - which is always being evaluated in order to provide the best possible outcome.
