My passion for this work began in 2007 when I was a resident’s assistant at Cedarville University. It was there that I witnessed first-hand how counseling could be used to restore brokenness, renew hope and rejuvenate lives. This passion lead me to pursue and obtain a master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Now, over 15 years later, I consider it a great privilege to partner with my clients on their therapeutic journey. When I’m not working, I enjoy cooking with my family, a good cup of tea, and audio books (one of the greatest discoveries of my adult life). As a licensed professional clinical counselor, I have experience working with adolescents, individuals, couples and families. At this time, I primarily work with adult women who desire to grow in emotional health and wholeness. My integrative approach with individuals is built on a foundation of trust that is developed between me and my client. This positive therapeutic relationship provides a safe space for clients to explore thoughts, emotions and behaviors. It is in this safe space that I partner with my clients to help them develop the insights and skills necessary to make positive changes in their lives.
