Introduction

I am a mental health counselor licensed in Illinois with around five years of experience working with clients from a wide range of ages and life experiences. In this time, I have worked with people to address issues of depression, anxiety, relationship issues, family tension, and many other struggles. I have specific experience with LGBTQ+ clients, including sexuality and gender identity concerns. As a humanist counselor, I believe the most important part of therapy is the client feeling heard and understood, so I strive to create that personal connection with my clients using empathy and authenticity. I also believe strongly in the healing power of the creative arts and humor, and I try to include them in my counseling when appropriate.
