Hello, my name is Anna! My favorite tool to use in therapy sessions is mindfulness. Everybody seems busy and stressed, mindfulness allows us to process our emotions, identify stuck emotions, and be more present. I have found mindfulness practices effective in my client’s lives as well as my own! My favorite thing about mindfulness is that it allows us to slow down and enjoy life more frequently. If we don’t allow ourselves to feel emotions they can get trapped. I want to help clients work through those stuck emotions so they can continue moving forward. I can offer support, comfort and skills to assist you in working through your struggles. Life is tough and sometimes you need someone in your corner. I can be that person in your corner to offer support, comfort, and skills to work through your struggles. I have experience working with all ages, mostly teens and young adults, but also enjoy working with children, adults, and elderly adults. I have experience in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma. I have worked with divorced/divorcing families, victims of sexual, emotional, and physical abuse, life transitions, and Some of the therapy techniques I use include Mind-Body Bridging, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Trauma Informed Yoga, some Play Therapy techniques, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
