Hello, my name is Anna. I am a California licensed psychotherapist (Lic# 75030). Originally from Poland, I've called San Diego home since 2002. I earned my BA and MSW degrees at SDSU, and I bring over a decade of experience in the field of mental health. Over the years, I've worked in diverse settings including mental health hospital, intensive outpatient programs, non-profit organization, and a large healthcare provider. Now, in private practice, I offer individual, couples, and group therapy services, as well as training programs for other clinicians. As a therapist, my focus is helping individuals navigate daily stressors tied to career, relationships, and life challenges. I specialize in addressing anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, adjustment disorders, clinical depression, and trauma. Working with adult clients (18+). My therapeutic approaches include CBT, DBT, ERP, ACT, and CPT, and I offer sessions in both English and Polish. I enjoy collaborating with clients on identifying patterns, distinguishing helpful traits from those that are hindering the life they desire. In our sessions, we tackle practical skills and coping tools while also delving into deeper issues and patterns. Recognizing that everyone's needs differ, I look forward to exploring what works best for each individual. For me, a successful therapy episode concludes with a client confidently saying, "I know what to do moving forward." Life naturally presents challenges and uncertainties, and my goal is to empower you to navigate through them, rediscovering your confidence and decision-making in line with your values. If you feel I could be the right fit for you as a therapist, please reach out. I'm eager to work together towards your well-being and happiness. As Carl Jung wisely said, "Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life, and you will call it fate."
