Hello, I'm Anna. I began my career as an outpatient therapist in 2009 at UAMS Program for Young Adults. At that time I worked with teens and young adults from all backgrounds and from all over the state, treating mood disorders, behavior disorders and personality disorders. I also ran the Young Adult Diagnostic clinic, serving as the primary assessment clinician for the Walker Family Clinic while seeing my own therapy clients. From 2015-2025 I served as the school counselor for Episcopal Collegiate School where I helped middle and upper school students learn emotion regulation skills and how to enhance their emotional intelligence in order to meet their educational goals. I also developed social emotional learning lessons for students and sponsored a peer leadership program called "Senior Peer Leaders". In 2025 I transitioned into full time private practice . Once again I have the great honor of guiding and helping people using evidenced based strategies to improve their mood and functioning.I also provide the Highlands Ability Battery, a objective assessment of natural abilities that helps individuals 14 yrs and older create their personal vision to land a fulfilling career. I love being a therapist. My goal is to provide a judgment-free, personalized, and supportive experience. I work to build a trusting alliance with my clients to enable them to explore the complexities of being a human, build resilience, and develop coping skills to thrive. Whether you just need a safe place to process life, need help managing a mental illness or want to improve coping strategies, I'd love to be that person for you.
