Providing online services to clients who are in Washington, California and (coming soon) Oregon. What brings you here today? What are you seeking and how can I help? I hope that the information below will help you decide if you would like to work with me. Psychotherapy works best when there is a strong working relationship between the client and the therapist. This means that as a client, you need to feel that your therapist “gets” you, genuinely listens to you, and works collaboratively with you. I work with adolescents, adults of all ages and families who are confronted with emotions and situations they are having difficulty coping with. Often these challenges are triggered by life changes (planned or unplanned), traumatic memories, loss, grief, relationship struggles, family problems, work stress, or other events. I work well with professionals at all stages of their careers, and with people from varied backgrounds in rural, urban and suburban environments. I welcome veterans and service members. I provide a professional, respectful, and private (online) place to talk. Together we look at the concerns from different angles, experiment with other points of view and allow new thoughts, feelings and growth. My work is collaborative, creative, intuitive, feeling-centered and thoughtful. I am dedicated to effective practice. My approach to psychotherapy is influenced by my education and studies in depth, Jungian and archetypal psychology as well as cognitive-behavioral psychology/psychotherapies and family systems theories. I am also influenced by studies in dream-tending, mindfulness, yoga and positive psychology. I do not take insurance. However if desired I can provide you a “super bill” that can then be presented to the insurance provider.
