Welcome! Making the decision to look for support is not an easy one, but I am glad you have taken the first step. I am here to foster a safe space in order to support your healing journey. I have worked in settings including in outpatient mental health clinics and in a residential program addressing significant trauma. I have the privilege of being in practice for over 20 years. My path has always brought me to a place where I was able to collaborate and assist in the process of healing from trauma. I am thankful to every person who has allowed me to be a part of their healing. I have advanced training in Cognitive Processing Therapy, an evidence-based trauma treatment, as well as TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy geared towards treating children and adolescents). In my clinical work, I incorporate a variety of approaches, as no one method or intervention fits every person. I draw quite a bit from insight- oriented psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, existential therapy and mindfulness practices, as well as CBT. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, older adults and persons from various backgrounds and experiences. In addition to trauma work, I am experienced in treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders; supporting persons who are members of the neurodivergent population navigate their experiences; supporting individuals who are discovering their gender identity and/or sexual identity as well as persons navigating change, grief and loss. I am deeply invested in meeting people where they are at and collaborating with them as they grow. I hope that this helps you know a bit about me. I am looking forward to getting to know more about you. ~Anne “There is no timestamp on trauma. There isn’t a formula that you can insert yourself into to get from horror to healed. Be patient. Take up space. Let your journey be the balm.” ~Dawn Serra
