Therapy can be tough, but I want you to enjoy your progress as you work with me! If you have a great sense of humor and believe that laughter is the best medicine I may be a good fit for you. We will tailor our approach to your needs and preferences. After each session I typically send a follow up message which contains my thoughts about our session and what you should be focusing on next. We will write a treatment plan with specific goals and action steps and will review it frequently to check on your progress. When you accomplish your goals, we will discuss discontinuing therapy, or developing new goals. I want to help you make real lasting changes. Therapy is my passion and I have been helping clients for over 15 years. Some notes on billing - You should not have to pay out of pocket for mental health care. I am in network with many different insurance companies and I continue add more! Every therapist will accept private pay (including me) as this is the easiest option for us. But it's best for you to have it covered via insurance. I work with a billing service and I will verify your benefits and figure out any co-pays or deductibles for you, you don't have to figure this out on your own. If you don't see your insurance here let me know, I may be willing to try to become in network with them, or I can help you find a provider who is in network. If you want to provide a credit card for self pay and deductibles you can, but I do not require this. In my counseling and my billing I put your needs first.
