Introduction

Reaching out for help is sometimes the hardest step. My goal is to offer you a safe space to heal & grow. This safe space is for YOU to explore past traumatic experiences and perhaps some behavioral patterns that could be affecting your motivation, mood & relationships. I have a Holistic & Person Centered approach rooted in Neuroscience and Psychodynamic theory. I believe the therapeutic relationship is at the center of treatment, which allows clients to speak freely and genuinely while remaining open to self reflection. My counseling education and training at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois has afforded me the opportunity to learn from some of the best counselors and educators in the counseling field. I continue to stay up to date on the latest interventions in counseling that are rooted in Neuroscience, Neurobiology from a Whole Person Approach. I have a particular interest in Psychodynamic Therapy, whereby clients can develop an understanding of their own defense mechanisms (survival skills) related to past traumas and begin to develop a better understanding and awareness regarding the emotional issues and relationship conflicts they are struggling with today. In our work together, my hope is that you feel a stronger "sense of self” (your core self), have increased motivation and confidence. It is quite possible to feel more at peace and empowered to live life on your terms- with deliberate intent.
