Introduction

I'm a psychologist with over 15 years of experience. I received my doctorate at Emory University in Atlanta, GA and completed my post-doctoral training at the Atlanta Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Grady Memorial Hospital. Since then, I've worked extensively with military veterans on trauma teams providing evidence-based trauma treatments and in Primary Care offering brief interventions to help with many issues (e.g., insomnia, stress reduction, depression, grief) tailored to immediate needs. I've worked with adults in private practice for over seven years. I really enjoy connecting with clients and helping them work through challenging life situations. I typically work with adolescents and adults. I've worked with young adults transitioning from home life to college or their first job to older individuals transitioning to retirement or dealing with death of a partner, and any age or life transition in between. And, I have considerable experience helping trauma survivors process and heal. Working collaboratively with clients is essential. We can work together to help you feel better. I'm located in Washington DC and am licensed through PSYPACT in 31 states: AL, AZ, AR, CO, DE, DC, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, ME, MD, MN, MO, NE ,NV, NH, NJ, NC, OH, OK, PA, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WV, WI. I see clients using Telehealth, which is an amazing way to engage in therapy from a location that is convenient, safe, and comfortable for you and to engage in therapy with a professional who is trained, experienced, and motivated to help you. I'm glad that you are seeking therapy, and I'm here to help. Please call or email to set up a complimentary consultation.
