Let's face it, beginning therapy can be intimidating. I believe that my role as your therapist is to make therapy a fun, engaging experience that allows you to come away from the session with new perspectives and tools to try in your own life. I use humor, research, and compassion to ensure you're getting the most out of treatment. I have over 7 years of experience in parenting education, family systems, and trauma-based mental health support. In couple's therapy, your relationship becomes the focus of treatment. We'll uncover how the negative cycle of interactions has hurt each partner and work towards creating a new way to communicate with one another. My goal is for each person in the relationship to walk away from session feeling heard, validated, and understood by both myself and their partner. In individual therapy, we'll explore aspects of life that are most important to you. Together we will set goals that you want to work on, and make steps towards them in each session. The option to conduct therapy outside on a walking trail close to the office is available for all individual sessions, weather dependent.
