Psychotherapy is an endeavor that many people seek to improve the overall quality of their lives. Whether one is experiencing conflict within relationships, difficulties coping with stress, a specific life problem, or acute symptoms, the insights, skills and increased awareness that come from working with a psychotherapist can be invaluable. Given the complexity of our lives and the reasons we seek psychotherapy, I believe that treatment should be not only goal oriented and focused, but flexible and sensitive to the uniqueness of who we are. Accordingly, I employ a variety of evidence based therapeutic strategies and techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and Mindfulness/Mentalization based practices to help individuals, couples, and families improve the quality of their lives.
