My journey into therapy began as a parent volunteer, where I discovered my passion for helping others through empathy and compassion. This inspired me to pursue a Master's in Psychology with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Massachusetts Global, where I honed my skills and deepened my commitment to supporting individuals through life’s challenges, especially motherhood. In my practice, I have had the privilege of supporting young adults, adults, and seniors, with a particular emphasis on aiding individuals recovering from long-term addiction and helping immigrants with acculturation and adjustment challenges. Additionally, I have worked with children, families, and couples, fostering essential communication and conflict-resolution skills in a non-judgmental environment. I have a special passion for supporting women as they balance career and motherhood, often addressing the effects of intergenerational trauma. Believing that the therapeutic relationship is the foundation for healing, I empower clients to explore attachment styles, behaviors, and life patterns, enabling them to create meaningful lives. My approach integrates humanistic and culturally sensitive techniques, drawing on modalities such as experiential, solution-focused, Gestalt, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and attachment-based therapies, to offer tailored treatment and foster personal growth.
