Working through challenges can be a difficult process, one in which people are sometimes hesitant to do. Often people feel like in order to go to a counselor, they must be at their lowest point. When truthfully, counseling is just a tool that can help people understand how to be the best version of themselves. Whether that’s focusing on how you affect those around you or developing ways to build your confidence, counseling is designed to meet you where you are and help address the obstacles that are holding you back. I’ve worked with many different types of clients ranging from individuals working on internal struggles with depression or anxiety, to couples trying to bring compassion and support back into their relationship. Sometimes an outsider’s view helps to gain a different perspective of how to address situations. My goal for each and every person is to walk away from their time with me with a different outlook on their situation than when they walked in.
