Introduction

I received my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Houston-Victoria. I have 11 years of experience providing social-emotional and behavioral counseling to youth and adolescents. While my main theoretical model is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I use a multi-modal approach when helping youth and adolescents navigate their stages of development. I understand that a personalized path works best when serving youth. I am currently working towards my Registered Play Therapist license and offer a variety of play therapy techniques including music, art, and sand tray. Personal Note: Listening is the greatest gift you can give others. I am passionate about helping youth and adolescents develop self-awareness and social skills to empower them to use their voices in an appropriate way and achieve success in the classroom, at home, and beyond. I will partner with you and your child to strengthen communication, cooperation, and resilience within your family unit.
