Introduction

About My Clients Have you ever thought that you or everyone in your family has a (or multiple) mental health condition? Do you believe that you can heal yourself and others by taking part in therapy? Tired of trauma and grief? Me too!!! We can work together on these things and heal intergenerational trauma. My Background and Approach Graduate of the University of Maine with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Social Work. Strong technical skills and ability to learn concepts quickly. Comfortable working autonomously or in a team-based setting. Compassionate social services professional and active listener dedicated to working tirelessly with clients. Deadline driven. Positive attitude. Ability to maintain client records with an understanding of legal and ethical standards. Interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Successful at managing multiple priorities while maintaining a strong work ethic and positive attitude. My Personal Beliefs and Interests I am a silver lining while still feeling all the emotions type of person. I have struggled with ADHD my whole life and was not officially diagnosed until I was 40. As a descendent of intergenerational trauma, I started my adult life with the plan to do better for my children- in the process. I had to work hard to heal myself. Through that healing, I became a foster and adoptive parent, a social worker, a candidate for state office, a pastor, a therapist, and a reiki practitioner. I am a proud ADHDer, a survivor of trauma, and a healer. I believe that we are all capable of incredible change and are more resilient than we know. My practice is trauma-informed, solution-focused, humanistic, and supportive. I don't have all the answers, but I am willing to partner with you while you find your answers.
