We will seek to better understand how you worry about your romantic, social, or family life, and the fear that you may not be enough just as you are. Whether you’re coping with anxiety, depression, loneliness, discrimination, perfectionism, school, career and/or relationship issues, we will explore the root of these setbacks and develop strategies for processing your emotions and creating healthier choices for daily living based on your deepest-held values. Trained in providing sensitive, affirming psychotherapy, I serve a diverse clientele of college students, entry-level professional men, women and couples seeking to improve their interpersonal relationships, self-esteem, self-awareness, communication skills, boundary-setting abilities, and emotional regulation. I specialize in relationship therapy for straight and LGBTQ+ individuals and couples seeking help for difficulties with communication, strained family dynamics, infidelity, sexual difficulties and attachment issues. Our relationships are at the center of everything we do; at work, at home, with family and friends, improving your relationship skills can powerfully impact all areas of your life. I use mindfulness-based, multiculturally-focused therapy, CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for individuals and couples. Using a values-driven lens, I will help you live your life with greater intention and purpose. I offer therapy both in-person in New York City and online throughout New York State.
