Change can be scary, but therapy shouldn’t be. Receiving help looks different to everyone. It can appear like self-exploration for some, while for others it looks like support when standing alone seems impossible. No matter what impacts you, therapy can offer a guided exploration of what it means to be human. I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) in Washington, D.C., with a B.S. in Psychology from The United States Military Academy at West Point and an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. I have three years of experience working with trauma, adjustment disorder, anxiety, depression, couples, and relationship issues. I am certified in Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and have experience in utilizing Psychodynamic approaches and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. While I do have experience with some modalities, I prefer to use an eclectic therapeutic approach that fits the needs of my clients, in an accepting and calming environment that encourages collaboration. Together, we can work together to reach your goals and find solutions. My job is to ensure you receive the best care possible at a pace that feels comfortable to you. If you have any questions or are interested in working together, please feel free to reach out to us.
