Introduction

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in adolescent and young adult relational psychodynamic therapy. I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship with clients early in treatment because I believe this is key to successful outcomes. Most of my training is in psychodynamic therapy, but I use other modalities as needed to address each individual's needs. Psychodynamic work is designed to be longer term and I typically see clients for multiple years. My goal is to ensure clients feel cared for and accepted, fostering their growth and an evolving sense of self. I'm queer-identified and provide affirming care to those with LGBTQ+ identities. I approach my clinical work with anti-racist and anti-capitalist values. I welcome discussions about how identities within oppressive systems shape our beliefs about ourselves, as well as how these effects show up in the therapeutic relationship.
