I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Self-Compassion Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy with my clients. This approach focuses on validating and understanding our experiences, so we can find ways to move forward in flexible and workable ways. I don’t believe that people fit into boxes, so I provide individual therapy that is centered on your goals and background. Throughout this process I seek to help you identify your values and the action steps it takes to walk towards what matters. A key part of my approach it to utilize openness and willingness to assist you in making the choices that lead to having a valued and meaningful life. I believe that some of the most restorative work we can do is repairing our relationship with ourselves, our bodies, and our spirituality. When we begin to accept ourselves and our current phase of life, we are then able to make choices that help create a meaningful life. I find the most fulfillment in my therapy work by walking alongside people who are processing body shame, issues of faith, and anxiety/depression.
