How are you? Really. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor for LMSWs looking to acquire their LCSW. I find it to be most rewarding working directly with my clients in a warm, comfortable, inviting, and non-judgmental environment. I am a trained complex trauma EMDR Clinician and a Level Two Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I have a passion for working with individuals who are suffering from or would like to work through their grief/loss or trauma. I believe that starting with a strength-based and relational approach is important in building rapport and trust in the session. Therapy is not “one size fits all”, and I will meet you where you are in a supportive and flexible manner. I integrate the use of EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, DBT, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing in my therapy practice. I am also a professional speaker with seven years of experience and most often speak on the topic of grief and trauma and the relationship to resiliency. I am also the author of the new book, Adding the E: Perspectives of Grief Through Recounts, Letters, and Poetry.
