Ashia McReynolds is a mental health professional, entrepreneur, business consultant, and educator passionate about creating and developing. Ashia is an effective problem-solver who truly loves to help people. Her love for people has evolved into a career as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT). As an educator in both public and private settings, she saw the importance of the family system. She believes therapy is an opportunity to help people gain clarity on a multitude of issues. Ashia is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC-S). She is the owner and Clinical Director of Clarity Wellness Center. Ashia is an LCADC and AAMFT Approved Supervisor. Mrs. McReynolds is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), a Facilitator for Prepare and Enriched, has completed Gottman Level 1 training, and trained as a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist (CCTS). She works from an integrative approach, which includes Trauma-Informed Care. Academically, she has completed coursework in various disciplines with an undergraduate degree from Regis University. Additionally, she holds a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Lincoln Christian University and is an MFT doctoral candidate specializing in military families at Northcentral University. Professionally, Ashia is an advocate for the profession. She holds a Clinical Fellowship membership with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). She currently serves as the Co-Chair for AAMFT Family Teams Nevada and helped with the successful passing of Nevada 2019 – Legislative Bill SB37. Mrs. McReynolds serves as a VA Community Care Provider. As a clinical and academic therapist, Ashia has worked in multiple treatment settings such as private practice, universities, religion-based, group homes, and community agencies. Through this experience, she has worked with clients from various court programs (i.e., Department of Family Services, Child Protective Services, Adult Drug Court, VA Drug Courts, Parole, and Probation). Ashia is clinically skilled in comprehensive evaluations and group/individual treatment for Co-Occurring Disorders, Intensive Outpatient Services, Substance Recovery, and Mental Health. She applies current research and literature as a guide for case conceptualizations. Mrs. McReynolds has over 25 years of executive-level administrator and managerial experience and has served in various capacities in organizations such as Caesars Entertainment, University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV), Touro University Nevada, Henderson (TUN), Henderson International School (HIS), and Clark County School District (CCSD). Other industries of experience include Healthcare (Pathology and Otolaryngology), Human Resources/Employment Recruitment (Fortune 500's), Gaming, Hospitality, Marketing, Music, Television/Film, Social Media Campaigns, Entertainment, and Education. Ashia enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling during her leisurely time.
