She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). She received a Bachelors degree in Psychology from William Paterson University, a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from St. Elizabeth University. Ashley has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and is currently on track for certification in CBT from the Beck Institute. She also has training in Affirmative Therapy specifically for the LGBTQ+ community. Ashley has also completed all 3 levels of the Gottman method to couples counseling training which is a cutting-edge approach based on over 30 years of research and 3,000 couples. Ashley is passionate about working with marginalized communities, making mental health care accessible to all and promoting the importance of a focus on mental wellness.
